If you're feeling "off" and you suspect hormones may be part of the picture, you deserve a thoughtful evaluation — not a rushed guess.
At Monarch Ideal Care, we're replacing what your body may no longer be able to produce at levels that support functioning at your best.
Hormone therapy can be a helpful tool when symptoms and labs point in the same direction. But it's important to set expectations of your body:
Abnormal levels don't guarantee symptom relief.
Some symptoms improve quickly, others take time, and some have non-hormonal causes.
Treatment may require dose adjustments or a different strategy altogether.
Our role is to evaluate, educate, monitor, and adjust thoughtfully—so you can make informed decisions. Decisions based on what's right for your body and not based on price.
Even though the actual molecules are the same, how an individual body responds to the lack of a particular hormone is unique. Both women and men have testosterone and estrogen in their bodies, but the amounts vary widely between the genders.
Choose the path that fits you:
Women's Hormone Optimization (Perimenopause → Menopause → Postmenopause)
Includes estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone (often overlooked but critical)
Men's Hormone Optimization (Andropause/Low Testosterone)
Focused evaluation, replacement therapy, and ongoing monitoring
We use bioidentical hormone therapy and offer two delivery options in our clinic:
Sublingual troches (often a great starting place for people new to hormone therapy)
Subcutaneous pellets (steady release over months; Dr Leslee Mcelrath is a certified BioTE provider)
We don't look at labs as "normal vs abnormal" only. We ask: Are these levels consistent with health and function for you?
Our hormone evaluation labs typically include CBC, CMP, lipid panel, thyroid panel, vitamin D, vitamin B12, and hormone levels.

Our hormone replacement therapy services are designed for physiologic and age-related hormone decline in adults. We do not use troches or pellets for transgender therapy at this time.
If you are seeking gender-affirming hormone care, we support your journey and invite you to explore our Primary Care services, where that care is handled through a different clinical framework.
We offer bioidentical sublingual troches and subcutaneous pellets for both women and men. Your options depend on your goals, history, and labs.
No. Women produce testosterone too—just less than men. We consider estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone based on symptoms, labs and goals.
Yes. This is replacement therapy. If you discontinue, levels return toward your pre-treatment baseline over time. We'll guide the process and monitor as needed.
Schedule a hormone consultation. We'll review symptoms, order comprehensive labs, and discuss appropriate options.
Not always. Hormones can help when they are a key driver, but symptoms may have multiple causes. We set realistic expectations and reassess over time.
