Changes in energy, drive, mood, body composition, or sleep can have many causes. Testosterone decline is one possibility, especially with age—but it should be evaluated thoughtfully.
At Monarch Ideal Care, we start with symptoms, history, and comprehensive labs, then discuss whether testosterone replacement is appropriate.
Testosterone levels can change due to:
age-related decline
chronic stress and poor sleep
illness or inflammation
weight and metabolic changes
certain medications
Not every man with symptoms needs testosterone therapy. Our job is to identify root contributors and talk through options.
If therapy is appropriate, we use bioidentical testosterone replacement and monitor regularly. This is replacement therapy—not a shortcut and not a guarantee.
If you discontinue therapy, testosterone levels return toward your pre-treatment baseline over time. We'll guide the safest off-ramp if you decide it's not the right fit.
We offer two delivery methods at this time:
Sublingual troches
Subcutaneous pellets (men's pellets are testosterone-only and typically last 4-5 months)
Even when labs are low, symptom improvement is not automatic. Some changes take time, some require dose adjustments, and some symptoms are driven by non-hormonal factors.
We'll reassess together and adjust your plan based on both how you feel and what your labs show.
We offer bioidentical sublingual troches and subcutaneous pellets. We do not provide injections or gels through our clinic.
Typically 4-5 months, depending on metabolism and dosing.
Testosterone replacement can affect fertility. If fertility is a concern, we'll discuss that during your consultation before starting any therapy.
Timeline varies. Some changes may be noticed within weeks, while others take months. We monitor and adjust based on response.
Yes. You can discontinue if it's not working for you; levels return toward baseline over time.
