What insurance plans does Monarch Ideal Care accept?

We accept private, commercial insurance plans only, including Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Medical Mutual and Marketplace Caresource, Buckeye, and Molina (their private insurance plans). We do not participate with Medicare or Medicaid currently. If you're unsure whether your plan qualifies, we recommend confirming before scheduling.

What if I have two (2) insurance plans and one is Medicare or Medicaid?

Eligibility depends on which insurance your plans require to be billed as primary. Insurance companies determine primary vs secondary coverage. If Medicare or Medicaid must be billed as primary, you would not qualify for our insurance or concierge programs. However, you may still participate in our Direct Primary Care (DPC) membership. We recommend confirming primary coverage before seeking to join Monarch Ideal Care.

How are appointments schedule for insurance patients?

Insurance-based visits are scheduled via text through our Virtual Assistant during normal business hours, M-F (9a-6p). Appointments are in-person only, available Monday through Friday, 10am-5pm, with most visits available within 48 business hours.

What type of care is included with insurance visits?

Insurance visits include comprehensive medical evaluations, lifestyle guidance, preventative care discussions, and medication management when appropriate. We take time to explain options clearly and support long-term health—not just symptom management.

What if I want more access or extended hours?

If you're looking for evening or weekend availability, longer visits, self-scheduling, or direct messaging with Dr Leslee, our Concierge membership may be a better fit. Concierge care offers expanded access while still allowing insurance benefits to still be utilized.
