I will definitely be returning, I had a pleasant experience staff are friendly and informative, the hormones really gave me the boost that I needed, I would like to see more advertisements about hormone replacement therapy so that woman can start having conversations about hormones and age related changes without feeling embarrassed.
I love this practice! As an introvert, I appreciate the small office setting without a waiting room filled with other patients; it makes going to the doctor feel more personal because there aren't a bunch of people waiting ahead of you and the doctor isn't stressed out because of being behind on appointments or anything like that. Dr. McElrath is a great doctor and genuinely seems to care about her patients' needs and wellbeings; she's also very laidback, and it's really easy to talk to her about things. She always has great recommendations for products that can improve your health (like vitamins/supplements, foods, and even safer cleaning products) --- she is NOT the kind of doctor who will just push all sorts of medication onto you, which is greatly appreciated. Scheduling is super easy, as it is all online. You can schedule up to 3 weeks out, I believe. This practice does offer times later in the evening for those who work during the day, but available times depend on whether you are a subscription patient or a Medicaid patient. Online, you can also access your patient portal and update certain parts of your profile to keep your doctor in-the-know about your general wellbeing outside of appointments. You can view lab results, documents, questionnaires, and all kinds of other helpful info. It's pretty neat! I am 100% supportive of this doctor's office and truly believe in its ability to help and benefit its patients. If you hate crowded waiting rooms and want a more personalized experience and a doctor who cares (and incorporates online technology into their practice), this is the place for you!
